Abstract: | This paper presents the Flue Gas Re-circulation (FGR), Water
and Steam Injection (WSI), Air and Fuel Staging (AFS), and Post-
Combustion technologies designed to reduce emissions from maritime
boilers, usually used on steam power plants. The intent of the paper is to
explain the processes, mechanisms, and impacts of the technologies on NOx
emission reduction and boiler and turbine operation. |
