| Abstract: | The paper is the result of a vast experimental study performed to determine the tear resistance of some short reinforced concrete cross-beams under vertical strain. This type of cross-beams is frequently used in industrial structures. Following the determinations a set of interesting aspects regarding the formation and progress of cracks were recorded as well as the mechanism cross-beams field under strain. The results obtainied highlighted values in the region of the bearing capacity. |
