Abstract: | This paper presents the design and construction of a mechanical vibration measurement system based on an Arduino platform and a series of MEMS accelerometers. The important element of the project is the three-dimensional
accelerometer sensors (ADXL335/345- triple axis sensor x, y and z), supported by open source board (Arduino board). The
Arduino is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has 14 digital input and output pins which six of them can be
used as pulse-width modulation (PWM) outputs, 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power
jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains every-thing needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to
a computer with a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. |
