Abstract: | Biomedical signals are generated by complex self-regulating systems. That is why physiological time series may have fractal or multifractal temporal structure, while being extremely inhomogenous and non-stationary.
The electroencephalogram signal can be registered with a computer in a form of time series, which shows statistical self-similarity and may be treated as fractals. This paper shows how fractal geometry can apply to analysing the medical signals |
