Abstract: | The dynamic reaction of circulating detachable bicable ropeway exposed to lateral wind loads is analyzed in the presented work. An elastic multi-body system consisting of a track rope, hauling rope and some gondolas is modeled. It is assumed that the lateral oscillation of the gondolas and the movement of the ropes in one span between two towers are not transmitted to the next span. According to this assumption the numerical simulations are reduced to one span of the ropeway. The gondolas move along the span with constant velocity. For the simulation is assumed that the elastic line of the track rope, due to dead loads, is constant and fixed in vertical direction. The gondolas have joint connections “hanger-cabin”. Each gondola is modeled like a pendulum with 3 degrees of freedom. The numerical simulation is realized by software MATLAB, toolbox SIMULINK. |
